Abstract
Abstract: The project method is a prominent example of active education that aims to activate students' mental and physical abilities by practically involving them in the most important topics that concern them, their environment, and their community. Students realize this and work on the problems contained in those raised topics through the problem-solving method adopted by Dewey as a scientific approach in education, starting with observation, making assumptions, and working on verifying them procedurally. Thus, the project method can translate the scientific steps into a progressive educational methodology. Therefore, in this study, we will attempt to address the concept, characteristics, principles, and steps of the project according to John Dewey
