The linguist Ibn Jinni (d. 392 AH) is considered the first to deduce the phonetic rules of the Arabic language by linking phonetic studies with morphological studies in his work " Sirr Sanāˈat Al-Iˈrāb" In light of the theory of assimilation and dissimilation, which supports the structure of Arabic morphology, this article discusses the mechanisms of word formation and their relationship to the proximity and distance of letters in terms of articulation and characteristics. It also investigates the phonetic maneuvering caused by vowel movements. Additionally, any word production process is governed by the mechanism of compositional division within an infinite derivational cycle. How did Ibn Jinni explain these changes in word structure? And how does this relate to the deduction of the phonetic rules of the Arabic language within a cohesive phonetic theory?
