Abstract
The study aimed to highlight the role that the transition to the digital economy can play in achieving the goals of economic diversification, and this is in light of the catastrophic failure achieved by most of the policies and strategies followed in order to achieve this, as the transition to the digital economy is one of the most important modern strategies aimed at developing the performance of economic sectors To achieve this study, the descriptive analytical approach was followed, which is the appropriate method for this study. The study concluded that there is a great effectiveness for the transition to the digital economy and the use of technology, digitization and knowledge in achieving the goal of economic diversification and raising the competencies of economic sectors aimed at diversifying the export sector and sources of income.
