The Contribution Of Information Technology In Reducing Time Wasters Using The Pls-sem Methodology: A Perspective From The Professors Of The Faculty Of Economics At The Universities Of M'sila And Bordj Bou Arreridj

Abstract
The study investigated how various dimensions of information technology—hardware, professional email, and internet—contribute to reducing time wasters, based on insights from professors at the Faculty of Economics in the Universities of M'sila and Bordj Bou Arreridj. A questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of 56 participants, and data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with Smart-PLS4 to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicated a high level of awareness among respondents about the use of information technology, but a moderate level of time wastage. Notably, the hardware dimension was found to significantly reduce time wastage, while professional email and internet showed no significant effect in achieving time efficiency from the professors' perspective.
