أثر حق الفيتو على الأمن والسلم الدوليين

الملخص
يعتبر حق الفيتو آلية قانونية في مجلس الأمن الدولي مخولة للدول الخمس دائمة العضوية فيه، ويعتبر استخدامه من أخطر المشكلات التي أرهقت كاهل منظمة الأمم المتحدة، مما أفقدتها مصداقيتها، لذلك جاءت هذه الدراسة لتكشف اللثام عن الاستخدام المفرط لهذا الحق في مجلس الأمن وتحدد مسؤولية الدول الكبرى في فشل المجلس في أداء مهامه خلافا لما نص عليه ميثاق الهيئة، وتوصّلت هذه الدراسة الى نتائج وحلول لوضع حد لمشكلة الاستخدام المفرط لهذا الحق بطريقة ماسة بالسلم والأمن الدوليين. The veto right is a legal mechanism in the United Nations Security Council granted to the five permanent member states, Its use is considered one of the most pressing issues that has burdened the United Nations, undermining its credibility due to the impact of this right on its decisions. This study aims to unveil the excessive use of this right in the Security Council and to identify the responsibilities of Great states in the Council's failure to fulfill its duties as stipulated in the organization's charter, The study presents results and solutions to address the problem of the persistent use of this right in ways that threaten international peace and security.
