In this article, the aim is to address the case of the building the statehood project in Libya, specifically the concentration is on the years; 2012 and 2013, when Libya was entering a new radical transformation. In this era, violence was an essential means to give political parties and sub-state groups what was called in the article a status quo presence in the Libyan political reality. This presence created a lack of collective consciousness, and political misorientation based on the cruciality of this intra-state violence. On this basis, the article uses these concepts substantially in following up on the developments that occurred in the political situation and the process of the state-building in the assigned years.
