An Exploratory Analysis Of The Role Of National Culture In The Transfer Of Information Technology To The Arab World

Abstract
This research explores the relationship between the National Culture and Information Technology Transfer (henceforth, ITT) within the context of the Arab World. A crucial question regarding ITT is the extent to which national culture influences IT transfer to Arab nations. To answer such a puzzling question, this study analyses related literature highlights numerous viewpoints from different perspectives on this topic, and provides various empirical studies in the field. This paper showed the knit and intricate linkage between Cultural Factors and Information Technology Transfer to the Arab world that may support or impede a successful technology transfer. This critical review is intended to serve as a guiding framework for a more comprehensive understanding of the significant role that national culture plays in the success of ITT, particularly to the Arab world.
