This paper examines the reality of female entrepreneurial networks in Algeria as one of the key drivers of women’s entrepreneurship. Business networks are considered as a way of empowering women through connections and collaborations, and as a door for new opportunities for growth in a male-dominated field. A descriptive-analytical approach was used to encompass the evolution of the concept of entrepreneurial networks, and to explore the state of female entrepreneurship practices in Algeria. An overall view on some notorious female business networks active in Algeria, confirmed the awareness about the resources and advantages derived from female professional interactions. However, these networks are limited in number and mostly located in major cities, what makes them exclusive.
