الملخص
نتناول في هذه الدراسة جزئية من الجزئيات المهمة من التاريخ المالي لمدن غرب مقاطعة موريطانيا القيصرية خلال العهد الامبراطور الأسفل الروماني284م- 429م، وذلك تسليط الضوء على الحالة النقدية الذي عرفتها مدن غرب مقاطعة موريطانيا القيصرية ما بين 284م- 429م، خصوصا بحلول القرن الثالث للميلاد، إذ شهدت الإمبراطورية الرومانية أزمة سياسية واقتصادية واجتماعية مست كل ارجاء الامبراطورية، ما انعكس سلبا على الحالة المالية للمقاطعات الرومانية بما فيها المقاطعات الإفريقية، من بين تلك المقاطعات نذكر مقاطعة موريطانيا القيصرية باعتبارها من المقاطعات الرئيسية لإفريقيا الرومانية والتي عانت هي الأخرى من تبعات هذه الأزمة السياسية بالخصوص مدنها الغربية باعتبارها جزء مهم جدا في المعادلة الاقتصادية لهذه المقاطعة، ومن هذا المنطلق تجلت فكرة هذه الدراسة داعية لمعرفة مجريات الحالة المالية لمدن غرب موريطانيا القيصرية ومدى تأثرها بالوضع القائم خلال العهد الامبراطوري الاسفل الروماني وإبراز مكامن تأثيرها على الحالة الاجتماعية والاقتصادية لهذه المدن، وذلك بالغوص في الأسباب الرئيسية لهذه الأزمة، وكذا السبل التي انتهجتها السلطات الرومانية من أجل الحد منها والوقوف على مدى نجاح هذه الحلول لتخليص مدن غرب موريطانيا القيصرية من عواقب هذه الأزمة المالية الخانقة. This study addresses one of the important aspects of the financial history of the cities of the western province of Mauretania Caesarea during the reign of the Lower Roman Emperor 284 AD - 429 AD, by shedding light on the monetary situation that the cities of the western province of Mauretania Caesarea experienced during this period of time, especially by the third century AD, as it The Roman Empire experienced a political, economic, and social crisis that affected all parts of the empire, which no longer negatively affected the financial situation of the Roman provinces, including the African provinces. Among those provinces, we mention the Caesarean province of Mauretania, as it was one of the main provinces of Roman Africa, which also suffered from the consequences of this political crisis, especially its cities. The West is considered a very important part in the economic equation of this province, and from this standpoint the idea of this study was crystallized, calling for knowing the merits of the financial situation of the Caesarean cities of Western Mauritania and the extent to which it was affected by the prevailing situation during the lower Roman imperial era and highlighting the areas of its impact on the social and economic reality of these cities, by searching for the reasons The main solutions to this crisis, as well as the solutions followed by the Romanian authorities in order to reduce it and determine the effectiveness of these solutions in ridding the cities of Western Mauritania.
