الملخص
تُقدم هذه الدراسة أدلة تطبيقية على عدم تماثل صدمات سعر الصرف في تأثيرها على القدرة الشرائية للعمال في الجزائر خلال الفترة (1990-2023)، وذلك بتقدير العلاقة بينهما في الأجلين القصير والطويل معا باستخدام منهجية الانحدار الذاتي ذو الفجوات الموزعة غير الخطي (NARDL)، وتقوم هذه المنهجية على افتراض أن المتغيرات الاقتصادية قد لا تكون تناظرية (Asymmetric) بمعني وجود اختلاف في تأثير الصدمات الموجبة والصدمات السالبة في آلة التأثير، و توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية أولا : العلاقة بين سعر الصرف والقدرة الشرائية للعمال غير خطية مما يعني أن تأثير صدمات سعر الصرف على القدرة الشرائية للعمال غير متماثل. ثانيا: في الأجل القصير، تتأثر القدرة الشرائية للعمال فقط بالصدمات الإيجابية لسعر الصرف، بينما لا تتأثر بالصدمات السلبية. ثالثا : في الأجل الطويل، توجد علاقة توازنية منطقية بين المتغيرات المدروسة. Abstract: This study provides empirical evidence on the asymmetry of exchange rate shocks in their impact on the purchasing power of workers in Algeria during the period (1990-2023), in order to estimate the relationship between them in both the short and long term using the non-linear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) methodology. This methodology is based on the assumption that economic variables may be asymmetric, meaning that there is a difference in the impact of positive and negative shocks. The study reached the following results: First, the relationship between the exchange rate and the purchasing power of workers is non-linear, which means that the impact of exchange rate shocks on the purchasing power of workers is asymmetric. Second, in the short run, workers' purchasing power is only affected by positive exchange rate shocks, while negative shocks have no significant effect. Third, in the long run, there is a logical equilibrium relationship between the studied variables.
