Classification, typologie, loi ou théorie, le changement linguistique constitue le paradigme, à la fois, de l’évolution et de l’involution des hommes trop souvent irrespectueux des valeurs au nom d’une liberté de l’individu absolue. Une orthodoxie épistémologique pourrait-elle alors les sauver pris qu’ils sont dans l’écrasant engrenage des réalités du monde moderne ? À ce titre, le changement linguistique serait-il véritablement une nécessité ? Car, somme toute, il s’agit assurément de cultiver les hommes dont les mots traduisent admirablement la vitalité aussi bien que la déchéance lorsque la suffisance humaine se retrouve à son apogée. *** Classification, typology, law or theory, linguistic change constitutes the paradigm, at the same time, of the evolution and involution of men too often disrespectful of values in the name of absolute individual freedom. Could an epistemological orthodoxy then save them caught in the crushing spiral of the realities of the modern world? As such, would linguistic change really be a necessity? Because, all in all, it is certainly a question of cultivating men whose words admirably convey their vitality as well as their decline when human sufficiency finds itself at its peak.
