The Role Of Artificial Intelligence In Enhancing Health Security In Algeria

Abstract
Establishing a regulatory and legislative framework for the use of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector has become an urgent necessity, given the opportunities these technologies provide for developing an integrated health system that ensures high-quality medical services and strengthens disease prevention strategies. In the face of global health challenges such as the spread of infectious and chronic diseases and the increasing risks of pandemics, Artificial intelligence emerges as a pivotal tool for supporting health and societal security. It offers wide-ranging capabilities in early diagnosis, epidemic prediction, and big data analysis, in addition to enhancing the efficiency of medical resource management and guiding public policies toward more proactive and effective decision-making. This study seeks to contribute to current debates on health and societal security by highlighting the central role of artificial intelligence in supporting the development of resilient health systems capable of addressing global health challenges.
