This study examines the relationship between financial inclusion and economic growth in Algeria over the period 1995–2023. The analysis focuses on the impact of financial institutions depth (FIDI) and financial market depth (FMDI) on GDP per capita, used as an indicator of economic growth. The Human Development Index (HDI) and Control of Corruption (CC) are included as control variables to account for social and institutional factors. The study employs the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to analyze both short-run and long-run relationships among the variables. The data are obtained from international sources, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and governance indicators databases. The findings provide insights into how financial inclusion, governance quality, and human capital influence Algeria’s economic performance. The results highlight the importance of strengthening financial systems and improving institutional governance to support sustainable economic growth.
