Abstract

: Cyberbullying is a phenomenon that has spread sharply in society recently, exacerbated by the widespread use of the internet and technology, such as smartphones, across all segments of society. This study aimed to identify the coping mechanisms employed by students at the University of Skikda to deal with cyberbullying. The study utilized a descriptive methodology and the CWCBQ cyberbullying coping mechanisms scale developed by "Fabiostika" on a sample of 120 students from the Psychology Department at the University of Skikda. The study concluded that university students rely on psychological strategies to counter cyberbullying, specifically the active ignoring technique. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found among university students in their coping mechanisms based on their academic specialization or level of study.
