Startups are a main driver of economic and social growth, as well as a new developmental alternative adopted by many countries, including Algeria, to advance development. From this standpoint, Algeria has given startups significant importance, especially after the major progress achieved by this type of enterprise at the international level. While their role in development was once limited and confined to certain activities, they have now become an essential factor in national economic activity, forming the core of the “New Algeria” strategy aimed at gradually reducing dependence on hydrocarbons. This interest has been reflected through the establishment of a dedicated and supportive legal and institutional framework. This research paper aims to shed light on the theoretical framework of startups and their legal system within Algerian legislation
