Abstract

The 2020 constitutional amendment is distinguished by its recognition of the most fundamental principles found in various constitutions around the world. The constitutional framers underscored the importance of the separation of powers and the maintenance of a balanced relationship between. To this end, they incorporated the phrase "separation among them" into the chapter on the organization of powers. This amendment has the potential to establish a balance between the executive and legislative branches by reaffirming the principle of equilibrium between them.
