Abstract: This research paper seeks to explore the causes and effects of cyberbullying on children. With the widespread use of modern communication tools like smartphones and mobile computers, individuals can easily create websites, facilitating entry into the world of cybercrimes. This unrestricted access exposes children to numerous risks, including cyberbullying, which endangers both their mental well-being and overall safety. Cyberbullying, an extension of traditional social bullying, can have severe psychological impacts on children, with potential long-term consequences that may even lead to physical harm. The research begins by defining cyberbullying and then reviews several studies that examine its causes. It further explores the different forms and patterns of cyberbullying, highlighting the underlying factors that contribute to this behavior and its associated effects. The paper also presents relevant statistics and suggests preventive measures. The study concludes with a summary of key findings.
