This study analyzes far-right discourse on French television, highlighting its strategies of legitimation and influence. It traces the historical evolution of the phenomenon, from anti-Semitic press in the late 19th century to contemporary digital platforms such as CNews, TV Libertés, and Fdesouche. Traditional and digital media are used to polarize society, generate fear and urgency, and mobilize public opinion around recurring themes such as immigration, national identity, historical memory, and security. The discourse relies on specific linguistic and argumentative tools, simplified narratives, and exploitation of social and political crises. Financial and ideological strategies of far-right media ensure the continuity of their influence, even in the face of sanctions or economic challenges. The study emphasizes the importance of critical media literacy to understand and counter the normalization of extremist ideas and protect democratic debate.
