Abstract
This study examines digital transformation and its significant impact on the services and resources provided by university libraries today. The research aims to explore how libraries are transitioning from traditional paper-based models to interactive digital environments, and the accompanying fundamental changes in research methodologies and user needs. The study also highlights the technical, human, and financial challenges hindering digital transformation, as well as the opportunities offered by modern technologies, particularly regarding improved open access to information. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach to assess the current state of university libraries, and the results demonstrate that digital transformation has become indispensable for ensuring the continued role of libraries as centers of knowledge.
