الملخص
ملخص: تعمل الوظائف التداولية على تبيين وفهم مقاصد الحوار بين المتكلم والمتلقي وذلك عن طريق ضوابط تتحكم في الخطاب؛ فهي ذات فائدة في قدرتها على تحليل الجملة الداخلية. وما يلاحظ أنّ فاعلية هذه الوظائف تستوجب طرفي خطاب يربط بينهما وضع تخابري معين في سياق معين، وتأسيسا على هذا، ارتأينا أن يكون موضوع مقالنا "الوظائف التداولية في القصة القصيرة جدا: قصة "اليتيم" وقصة "موت الفقير" لـ: نوئيل رسام أنموذجا"، وقد قمنا بتأويل نص القصتين وتبيان دلالاتها العميقة من منظور الوظائف التداولية وذلك عبر مرحلتين اقتضتهما منهجية البحث يؤطرهما السؤالين الآتيين: ما مفهوم الوظائف التداولية؟ وما الدلالة التي جسدتها هذه الوظائف في القصتين؟ Abstract: Pragmatic Functions in the Very Short Story: Noël Rassam’s “The Orphan” and “The Death of the Poor Man” as a Model Abstract Pragmatic functions operate to elucidate and interpret the purposes of dialogue between speaker and addressee, through the governing constraints that shape discourse. Their significance resides in their capacity to penetrate and analyze the internal architecture of the sentence. It is evident, however, that the efficacy of these functions presupposes the presence of two interlocutors, bound by a particular communicative situation within a defined context. On this foundation, we resolved to devote our study to “Pragmatic Functions in the Very Short Story: Noël Rassam’s ‘The Orphan’ and ‘The Death of the Poor Man’ as a Model.” In this work, we undertook an interpretive reading of both stories, seeking to disclose their deeper resonances through the prism of pragmatic functions. The investigation unfolded in two stages required by the research methodology, and it is oriented by the following guiding questions: What is the concept of pragmatic functions? What semantic meaning is embodied by these functions within the two stories?
