Technological Innovation As A Pillar Of Ensuring Food Security: The Netherlands As A Model

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the role of technological innovation as a catalyst for food security through the example of the Netherlands. The study found that the adoption of advanced technologies, such as precision farming, smart greenhouses, and improved logistics, has led to a significant increase in the productivity and added value of the agricultural and farming sector. This dynamic is reflected in the high level of exports and the Netherlands' leading position in global agricultural trade. The study also found that technological innovation simultaneously enhances economic competitiveness, productive performance, and contributes to ensuring the country's food security.
