الملخص
تعد صورة الغلاف في الرواية من أهم العتبات النصية التي يتوقف عندها المتلقي اعجابا وقراءة وتأويلا، إذ تعتبر العتبة الأولى للتفاعل مع النص، وقد أولت الدراسات النقدية لها اهتماما بالغا باعتبارها علامة بصرية لها قدرة على جذب المتلقي بجماليتها وما تحمله من دلالات وإيحاءات، وتختلف هذه الصورة من رواية إلى أخرى. وقد امتازت روايات واسيني الأعرج باختيار لوحات فنية كصورة للغلاف وظهر هذا جليا في عدد من أعماله مثل: جملكية آرابيا، شرفات بحر الشمال... وهذا الاختيار يضفي على الغلاف بعدا جماليا يغرس لدى المتلقي رغبة في الاطلاع على الرواية وتثير لديه تساؤلات حول العلاقة بين اللوحة الفنية والمتن الروائي وأحداثه. وانطلاقا من ذلك، تسعى هذه الدراسة لقراءة جمالية اللوحة الفنية بوصفها عتبة نصية وتحليل العلاقة التي تربط بين الصورة الغلافية والمتن السردي. The cover image in a novel is one of the most important paratexts at which the recipient stops for admiration, reading, and interpretation. It is considered the first paratext for interacting with the text. Critical studies have paid great attention to it as a visual landmark capable of attracting the recipient with its beauty and the connotations it carries. This image varies from one novel to another. Wassini Al-Araj's novels were distinguished by the choice of artistic paintings as a cover image, and this was clearly evident in a number of his works, such as: The Kingdom of Arabia, Balconies of the North Sea... This choice gives the cover an aesthetic dimension that instills in the recipient a desire to read the novel and raises questions about the relationship between the artistic painting, the novel's text, and its events. Based on this, this study seeks to read the aesthetics of the artistic painting as a paratext and analyze the relationship between the cover image and the narrative text.
