Abstract

The quality of primary education represents a strategic imperative in the contemporary era, marked by rapid transformations. To keep pace with these dynamic changes, it is crucial to enhance both the efficiency and effectiveness of primary education through the adoption of quality standards in teaching. This approach reinforces the capacity of primary education to adapt to evolving circumstances and achieve the highest standards of quality. In this context, the present study aims to assess the state of primary education quality in Algeria, with a particular focus on curricula, teacher competence, infrastructure, and school administration, while also identifying the principal challenges to achieving optimal quality. Practical recommendations and solutions for improving the quality of primary education in Algeria are presented, grounded in the findings of this study.
