In this article, titled "Philosophy as an Art of Living", we aim to highlight philosophy as a way of life; a path to living in accordance with human nature as rational and moral beings. It cannot be reduced to mere theory or abstract intellectual contemplation disconnected from reality; rather, it is an art of managing life’s affairs, and a conscious, wisdom-based approach to living grounded in balance. In this study, we have relied on three main ideas, the foremost being: philosophy as a cure for the soul. This view emphasizes spiritual values and helps prepare individuals to face human suffering- such as fear of death, pain, and life’s disappointments- and thus frees them from the grip of irrational emotions that obscure the truth of the self and the kind of life one should live. The second section, titled "Moral Philosophy and the Pursuit of a Good Life," explores ethics and the ideal nature of human action and behavior, with a focus on Greek ethical thought; particularly that of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. The third section, "Philosophy and the Challenges of the Present," examines the irrational use of science and technology, and highlights the urgent need for a new ethics that keeps pace with modern scientific and technological advancements.
