Authors : Fares Hana . Djeffal Imene .

Abstract

This study aims to reveal organizational development mechanisms and their relationship to change management through a field study at Algeria Telecom - Bir El Ater. We examine the most important organizational development mechanisms adopted by the organization under study and their effectiveness, considering that the success of organizations depends on their dynamism and ability to adapt to external or internal environmental variables. Organizational development mechanisms aim to develop the communicative, organizational, skill-based, and intellectual capacities of organization members to improve their performance, enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness, achieve alignment between employee objectives and institutional goals, and thereby foster cooperation between superiors and subordinates. Consequently, the organization can accommodate environmental variables both internally and externally. Organizational development mechanisms are guarantors of organizational continuity and success; without them, the organization becomes obsolete and stagnant. It is worth noting that we adopted the descriptive approach to evaluate and describe the effectiveness of organizational development mechanisms and their relationship to change management in the organization under study, using a questionnaire to collect required data and information from authorized sources
