This investigation examines Quranic texts to explore misinterpretations and their consequences. The study focuses on three elements: the Basmalah, Iqra, and worship. The Basmalah, opening nearly all chapters, reflects God’s mercy and compassion; its misinterpretation distorts the understanding of Allah’s uniqueness. Iqra, translated as “read” or “recite,” emphasizes knowledge, reflection, and learning; misreading it affects Surah Al-Alaq and the Quran overall. Worship includes not only ritual acts but also social and scientific deeds; misunderstanding it limits comprehension of its broader meaning. An interdisciplinary methodology was adopted, employing lexicons, dictionaries, and etymological studies. Case studies illustrated misinterpretations and their impacts. Experts from linguistics, theology, and science ensured faithful analysis. This approach enhances accurate interpretation and reliable translation of the Quranic text.
