This study aims to uncover the demographic, social, and economic factors influencing the phenomenon of early divorce in Algeria, through a field study in Batna province on a purposive sample of 50 divorced women whose marriages did not exceed three years, using a questionnaire as the research tool. The results of the study found that certain social factors, represented by domestic violence, family interference, educational level, and the wife's employment, were most strongly associated with early divorce, followed by some demographic factors such as age difference and early marriage. As for economic factors, their impact was limited, except for resorting to borrowing and disputes arising from financial matters.
