What catches the reader's attention in Al-Kashaf by Al-Zamakhshari is the repetition of the structure, such as the phrase "If you say... I say," in different forms. This is known in rhetoric as "fangala." This technique has several benefits, the most important of which is limiting the issue by anticipating questions, assisting the speaker in persuading and responding to dissenters, and exciting readers and inspiring them to learn, among other benefits. This research explores a prominent rhetorical technique in Al-Kashaf, called "fangala." I have explained its definition and origins, mentioned its benefits and forms, and concluded with examples from Al-Kashaf.
