Abstract: This study analyzes the profound impacts of climate change on global food security and adaptation strategies to mitigate its effects on food systems worldwide. It proposes methods to lessen the detrimental impacts that threaten the stability and sustainability of global food supplies. The study employs a multidimensional approach, utilizing a multi-method methodology that combines quantitative and qualitative analyses. The findings reveal that staple crops have experienced a significant decline in average yields over the past two decades in regions affected by climate change. Furthermore, rural communities, particularly in developing countries, face considerable challenges in maintaining food access due to rising prices and dwindling water resources. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptation policies and measures to promote the diversification and sustainability of production systems.
