The Impact Of Foreign Direct Investment On Unemployment Rate In Algeria Over The Period (1980 – 2020), Using Cointegration And Granger Causality

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyses the impact of Foreign direct investment on the unemployment rate in Algeria over the period (1980 – 2020),using the Engel-Granger two step method to testing the long run relationships between variables, the main results show that there is no cointegration relationships between FDI and UNEMPLOYMENT, any causal relationships between variables is found according to the Granger causality test.
