International Cooperation To Promote Sustainable Tourism

Abstract
Tourism has become a leading sector that occupies an important position in the economies of many developed and developing countries, and contributes significantly to driving development forward. Given the growing global interest and demand for tourism activities, there has been increased international interest in tourism development in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. The rapid development of global tourism has also led to the search for a system of established international relations for the purpose of coordination and cooperation among them, and the development of long-term plans to create stable rules for them. This has allowed for the emergence of numerous international tourism organizations and bodies that have played a positive role in promoting sustainable tourism development. أصبحت السياحة قطاعا رائدا يحتل موقعا مهما في إقتصاديات العديد من الدول المتقدمة والنامية وتساهم بشكل كبير في دفع عجلة التنمية نحو الأمام، إلا أنها ارتبطت بالعديد من الآثار السلبية لاسيما ما يتعلق بهدر الموارد الطبيعية، ونظرا لتزايد الاهتمام والطلب العالمي على الأنشطة السياحية تزايد اهتمام الدول بتنمية السياحة وفق مبادئ التنمية المستدامة. كما سمح التطور السريع في مجال السياحة العالمية إلى البحث عن نظام علاقات دولية مؤسسة بغرض التنسيق والتعاون فيما بين الدول ووضع مخططات طويلة المدى لخلق قواعد ثابتة لها قصد تحويلها إلى عامل أساسي في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، هذا ما سمح بظهور منظمات وهيئات سياحية عالمية عديدة لعبت دور إيجابي في تعزيز تنمية سياحية مستدامة.
