Abstract : The rapid and successive development that has affected artificial intelligence, reaching a level of advancement comparable to machine-based cognitive intelligence and the emergence of autonomous capabilities that render machines no longer fully controllable or their actions predictable once activated, has also led to a corresponding evolution in the risks arising from it. This development has raised questions regarding the extent to which traditional rules of civil liability are capable of addressing such harms, particularly with respect to identifying the responsible party in cases where these systems cause damage to others, as well as determining appropriate compensation for the damages that may result from these technologies and other future innovations.
