عمالة الأطفال بين المفهوم والواقع

الملخص
تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى الوقوف على واقع العمل عند فئة الاطفال من خلال عرض مختلف تعاريف هذه الظاهرة مرورا بأهم القطاعات التي تعمل فيها هذه الفئة سواء المرتبط منها بالحياة العائلية أو غير ذلك، وأيضا معرفة الـأثار المترتبة عن عمالة الأطفال سواء من الجانب الصحي أو الجانبين النفسي والاجتماعي. وتبين نتائج هذه الدراسة ان عمالة الأطفال ظاهرة توجد في كل الدول سواء منها المتقدمة أو المتخلفة وظهورها قديما خاصة في نشاطات الزراعة والصناعة وأكبر النسب في قطاع الزراعة من خلال المسوحات التي تم القيام بها خاصة في الدول النامية، وتختلف تعاريفها حسب المنظمات والهيئات الدولية، وانتشارها في القطاعات الغير رسمية التي لا تحترم الاتفاقيات الخاصة بالعمل سواء كانت محلية أو دولية The present paper aims at investigating the reality of child labor by presenting the various definitions of this phenomenon and presenting the most important domains in which children work, whether related to family life or otherwise. It also attempts to shed light on the health, psychological and social effects of child labor. Results of this study show that this phenomenon exists in all countries, be they developed or underdeveloped. It appeared in the past in agriculture and industry, but more predominantly in agriculture especially in the underdeveloped countries as the conducted surveys revealed. Definitions of child labor vary across international organizations and authorities. It spreads in the informal sectors that do not respect the local and international work convention
