The Educational Methodology Of The Alawi Order: A Reading Of Al-minhaj Al-mufid By Sheikh Ahmad Ibn Mustafa Al-alawi Al-mustaqhanimi

الملخص
تتناول هذه الدراسة المنهجَ التعليمي للشيخ العلامة أحمد بن مصطفى العلوي المستغانمي من خلال قراءة تحليلية في كتابه "المنهاج المفيد"، ذلك المؤلَّف الذي يُعدّ من أبرز نماذج الكتابة التربوية في تراث الطريقة العلوية. وقد كشفت الدراسة أن الكتاب ليس متناً فقهياً تقليدياً، بل هو مشروع تربوي متكامل يقوم على ثلاثة محاور رئيسية: المنهج التعليمي، ومسائل التوحيد والعقيدة، ومسائل الفقه والعبادات. وقد اعتمد الشيخ في بنائه أسلوبَ السؤال والجواب وسيلةً تعليمية محورية، تجعل القارئ في حالة حوار مستمر مع المؤلف، مما يُيسِّر استيعاب المادة العلمية وترسيخها في الذهن. وتبيَّن من خلال الدراسة أن الكتاب يسير وفق ترتيب تصاعدي مقصود، يبدأ من أصول المعرفة والتوحيد، ثم ينتقل إلى أركان الإيمان، ثم يُفضي إلى تفاصيل الفقه والعبادات وفق المذهب المالكي، مجسِّداً بذلك منهج حديث جبريل الجامع بين الإسلام والإيمان والإحسان. كما أماطت الدراسة اللثامَ عن البُعد الصوفي الخفي في الكتاب، إذ يحرص الشيخ على ربط كل حكم فقهي بمقصده الإيماني وروحه التعبدية، انطلاقاً من قناعته الراسخة بأنه لا تصوف حقيقي بدون عقيدة صحيحة وفقه سليم. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن "المنهاج المفيد" يكشف عن شخصية الشيخ العلوي بوصفه مربياً ومصلحاً تعليمياً، أدرك أن إصلاح الأمة يبدأ من تصحيح عقيدتها وتهذيب سلوكها، وأن الجمع بين الشريعة والحقيقة هو السبيل الأمثل لبناء الإنسان المسلم المتوازن In English This study offers an analytical reading of the educational methodology employed by the eminent scholar Sheikh Ahmad ibn Mustafa al-Alawi al-Mustaqhanimi through his seminal work Al-Minhaj al-Mufid (The Beneficial Method), considered one of the most distinguished examples of pedagogical writing in the heritage of the Alawi Sufi Order. The study reveals that the book is far more than a conventional legal treatise; it is a comprehensive educational and spiritual project built around three principal axes: the teaching methodology, matters of theological doctrine, and issues of Islamic jurisprudence and worship. Central to its pedagogical approach is the question-and-answer method, which transforms the reader from a passive recipient into an active participant in an ongoing intellectual dialogue, thereby facilitating the comprehension and retention of scholarly content. The study further demonstrates that the book follows a deliberate ascending structure, beginning with the foundations of knowledge and the oneness of God (Tawhid), progressing through the pillars of faith (Iman), and culminating in the detailed rulings of worship and ritual purity according to the Maliki school of jurisprudence. This arrangement consciously mirrors the prophetic model presented in the Hadith of Gabriel, which integrates Islam, Iman, and Ihsan into a unified spiritual vision. The study also uncovers a subtle Sufi dimension woven throughout the text, as Sheikh al-Alawi consistently links every legal ruling to its devotional spirit and higher moral purpose, reflecting his firm conviction that authentic Sufism cannot exist without sound doctrine and correct jurisprudence. The study ultimately concludes that Al-Minhaj al-Mufid reveals Sheikh al-Alawi as an educator and reformer who understood that the renewal of the Muslim community begins with the correction of its creed and the refinement of its conduct, and that the harmonious integration of Sharia and spiritual reality represents the surest path to building a well-rounded Muslim character.
