Abstract

This article reviews the book titled “You may Ask Yourself: An Introduction to Thinking Like a Sociologist” by Dalton Conley; the book is a comprehensive yet easy-to-understand introduction to the principles, theories, and methodologies used by sociologists today. The work focuses on the development of critical sociological imagination, where the reader of the book should go beyond memorization to develop a strong analytical lens for questioning the interaction between the micro-level experience and the macro-level social structure.
