Abstract of the article: Published in 1945, Animal Farm by George Orwell renews the political fable by portraying, beneath an apparent simplicity, the mechanisms of power and the betrayal of revolutionary ideals. Drawing on intersecting theoretical frameworks (Bakhtin, Sartre, Said, Rancière, Compagnon), this article examines the corruption of language, the manufacture of consent, and the moral responsibility of silence, highlighting the novel’s transhistorical and enduring relevance.
Keywords : Political fable, manipulation of language, domination, consent, moral responsibility
