It is true that the advent of science and technological progress, which affects almost all areas, has made man's life much easier and has provided him with many services. However, its emergence in the literary space raises several issues linked above all to the mechanization of society as well as the reversal of the balance of power between man and machine. It is in this sense that artificial intelligence which insinuates itself even into intimate spheres of daily life seems to be a danger or even a threat for humanity because it engages in a process of dehumanization of human beings and then leads them into a form of submission. The Depopulator by Samuel Bekett would be a significant example of this enterprise of machination of the individual through the demonstration of a pure confrontation between man and machine and therefore of a relationship of dependence between the natural and the artificial.
