The Effectiveness Of The Occupational Health And Safety System In Reducing Work-related Accidents (a Field Study At The National Well Services Corporation (ensp))

Abstract

The study examined the role of the occupational health and safety system in reducing workplace accidents at the Well Services Company (ENSP). To address the research questions, the descriptive method was applied due to the nature and importance of the topic. A questionnaire was distributed to 44 ENSP employees, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS (V26). The findings revealed a positive correlation between all dimensions of the occupational health and safety system and workplace accidents. Statistically significant differences in workplace accidents were found based on gender. However, no significant differences were identified in relation to experience, educational level, or job position. The results also showed that 43% of the variation in workplace accidents was explained by changes in the occupational health and safety system within the company.
