Managing Public Budget Program To Improve Algerian Faculty Member’s Productivity Within Scopus Database

Abstract

This study uses ordinary least squares (OLS) regression analysis to look at the impact of financial resources and pedagogical support on the productivity of faculty members at Algerian universities. Data for the year 2022 for 22 Algerian universities were analyzed using Eviews software in line with the reference year of Algeria's recent medium-term planning initiative for the higher education and scientific research sector (2022-2025). The results revealed that there is a positive correlation between the scientific faculty's productivity (as measured by Scopus publications) and both the level of pedagogical supervision and the operational expenses. The study recommend opening research regarding the use of software and ministerial portfolios as a mechanism for governing the higher education sector
