This study treates the hypotheses of the projected world and the real world, which represent the conflict between ancient and modern philosophy. The ancient philosophy adopts the hypothesis of the real world, positing that humans have a direct relationship with reality; that is, linguistic reference to reality is a direct reference in which predicates correspond exactly to existing entities. In contrast, modern philosophy embraces the hypothesis of the projected world, which asserts that the world experienced by humans is not the real world as it exists in reality, but rather a projected world formed in the human mind through interaction with it since birth. Consequently, linguistic reference to this world is an internal reference (within the brain), where predicates do not correspond directly to existing entities.
