Abstract
Food security is a concept that has preoccupied international public opinion, due to humanitarian, economic, political, and social reasons. Access to the required food is a basic human right, essential for preserving one's humanity and dignity. Food security is considered a cornerstone of economic security for any country and one of the most important pillars of social and even political security. Food security is also a concept that many international and global organizations have focused on, such asFood and Agriculture OrganizationIt was considered a fundamental issue, an alternative to the concept of food sufficiency. This interest was reflected in many visions and perceptions for defining the concept of food security and its dimensions, where we find a set of concepts closely related to food security, such as the food gap, self-sufficiency, and the right tofoodMalnutrition and food sovereignty. This, and food in general, has multiple dimensions.
