Abstract : Islamic windows of conventional banks are considered one of the most important sectors of modern Islamic banking. Despite the massive expansion that has taken place in this sector, the question of legitimacy remains pressing, especially with regard to transactions of Islamic banking windows in Algeria, Therefore, we studied the Islamic window contracts applied in the Algerian banking system, case by case, and analyzed the contractual clauses contained therein to determine the extent to which these terms and conditions comply with Islamic Sharia law. We concluded the following: 1.Islamic windows in Algeria have committed some Sharia violations, particularly in lease-to-own contracts. 2.Investment deposit contract violations include failure to specify the profit percentage for both parties to the contract, and the bank monopolizing the remaining surplus from investment risk allocations and reserves. 3.Islamic violations in a lease-to-own contract include not returning the amount in excess of the actual rent, and not returning the margin paid before the contract in the event of forced termination of the contract, The landlord is not responsible for defects in the rented property.
