ملخّص: تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية التي تختص برواية (صمت الفراغ) لإبراهيم سعدي إلى الإحاطة بصورة المثقف في الخطاب الروائي الجزائري المعاصر إبان أزمة التسعينيات؛ أزمة العشرية السوداء التي عدّت الثقافة خطيئة والوعي مخالفة لا بد لها من ضريبة، فكان العقاب ببث الهلع والذعر في أنفس هؤلاء المثقفين، وقتلهم متى تسنى للتيار التكفيري ذلك. وعلى هديٍ من ذلك فإن الدراسة توصلت إلى جملة من النتائج تتحدد في كون المثقف في رواية (صمت الفراغ) هو تمثيل حيّ للمثقف الحقيقي أيام العشرية السوداء، وأنه دفع ضريبة ثقافته للآخر المتطرف، وكفّر عن خطيئة وعيه بروحه ودمه. Summary: This research paper on the novel (The Silence of the Void) by Ibrahim Saadi aims to understand the image of the intellectual in contemporary Algerian novelist discourse during the crisis of the 1990s. The crisis of the Black Decade, which considered culture a sin and awareness a transgression that had to be taxed, so the punishment was to spread fear and panic in the souls of these intellectuals, and to kill them whenever the Takfiri movement could do so. Based on this, the study reached a set of results that are determined by the fact that the intellectual is in the novel (The Silence of the Void) is a living representation of the true intellectual in the days of the Black Decade, and that he paid the tax of his culture to the extremist other, and atoned for the sin of his awareness with his soul and blood.
