The growth of electronic commerce in Algeria has raised important issues regarding copyright protection in the digital sphere. Algerian law, especially after updates to Law No. 03-05, addresses the challenges of safeguarding creative works online. This abstract reviews the legal framework for copyright in Algerian e-commerce, noting progress in recognizing digital works and offering remedies against online infringement. Despite these advances, enforcement difficulties and limited public awareness remain obstacles. The study concludes that while Algeria has improved its copyright laws to meet international standards, further reforms are needed to fully protect intellectual property in electronic commerce.
