This study investigates Giwa’s use of Transitivity in his novel From Fatika with Love to differentiate the different components of narrative structure in his text. The study employs qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. Data were drawn from the novel From Fatika with Love, with specific chapters and segments selected using purposive sampling. The analysis is anchored on Haliday Systemic Functional Linguistic (SFL) (1994) focusing on the Transitivity models (mainly the ideational/experimental meaning). Major findings reveal how Giwa structures the narrative by assigning roles to participants and depicting different types of processes. Material processes constitutes the dominant processes and help in driving the plot of the narrative; Mental processes are employed in revealing internal thoughts, emotions and motivation of character; Relational processes for establishing identities and contexts; Verbal processes for dialogue; Behavioral processes for subtle attitude and Existential processes for setting scenes. The combination and distribution of these process types structure events, convey character’s moral, social and religious attitudes and trace the protagonist’s journey through challenging circumstances, effectively guiding reader’s perception and understanding of actions and themes such as materialism, exploitation and moral conflict. Therefore, the Transitivity analysis enables better understanding of narrative structure in the text
