Epistemological Limits In The Scientific Study Of Social Phenomena

Abstract
In this study, we seek to identify the development witnessed in the study of social phenomena through the multiplicity of visions in the approaches applied to them, and then the epistemological limits of each approach, as scholars disagreed about the possibility of explaining the social phenomenon through the mechanisms of the natural sciences approach, between supporters and opponents. Supporters believe that it can be conducted. It has to be experiments and we have to predict it will happen, in contrast to opponents who acknowledge the difficulty of studying social phenomena in the same way as studying natural phenomena, stressing the necessity of developing a new scientific method that is compatible with the nature of the social phenomenon, which is the method of understanding.
