This study aims to identify the integrative relationship between mobile journalism (MoJo) applications and the production of digital tourism content in light of rapid advances in communication technology, through a theoretical analysis. It further seeks to elucidate the mechanisms through which smartphones are employed in producing digital tourism content, drawing on key MoJo attributes-immediacy, ease of use, cost efficiency, and the capacity for cross-platform publishing. The study also examines how this emergent journalistic mode contributes to shifting tourism content from traditional narration toward digital experiences that enhance audience engagement. The findings indicate that MoJo applications constitute an effective strategic tool for tourism marketing, enabling content creators to document experiences and destinations in creative ways. This, in turn, enriches digital content and strengthens public awareness of tourism assets through a contemporary, interactive approach.
