This study examines the economic effects of government support policies in Algeria between 2010 and 2020. It assesses their role in improving key indicators such as production growth, labor productivity, human capital accumulation, and price stability. The findings show that these policies have supported economic activity and income redistribution but at a high fiscal cost to the public treasury. This financial burden raises concerns about long-term sustainability, particularly amid fluctuating oil revenues. The study highlights the need for targeted support reforms that maintain social protection while enhancing economic efficiency. Overall, supports have had a mixed impact, stimulated short-term growth but posed risks to fiscal balance and resource allocation.
