This research paper aims to address the future of electronic administrative judicial procedures in Algeria and the challenges they face, particularly after the Algerian legislature’s recent adoption of digitization in administrative litigation through the amendment of the Code of Civil and Administrative Procedure by Law No. 22-13. This amendment has established the foundation for digitizing key procedures, such as the electronic filing of lawsuits and electronic notification, aligning with the approach of Law No. 15-03 on the modernization of justice regarding the transition to electronic litigation. This is a commendable legislative initiative. Despite the challenges confronting the Algerian state in this domain, it possesses the necessary elements to benefit from the experiences of pioneering countries, such as France and Saudi Arabia. This would allow Algeria to build a distinctive model that achieves efficiency and enhances transparency within the administrative justice system.
