Ecological Wars And Their Impact On International Relations In The Post-cold War World.1991-2022

Authors : Rima Djelloul . Abassi Karima .

Abstract

The study of ecological issues in the post-Cold War world aims to present the most prominent discussions and points of view on the impact of environmental issues on international relations, given that the environmental variable is of great importance in terms of its relationship to various international issues related to global security, whether at the level of the state or at the level of the individual. Therefore, research in the field of ecological warfare in the period extending from 1991 to 2022 is no longer merely an incidental result of international conflicts and rivalries, but rather has become a means and a strategy in itself, which requires a reconsideration of the course of the international security environment and the concepts of power, national and environmental security, sovereignty, and international borders, which are considered important issues in the twenty-first century.
